The Bedford College Group (TBCG) was established in 2017 through the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College.

It has since grown to become the largest provider of further and higher education across the South East Midlands, supporting over 15,000 learners annually.

Serving Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and surrounding counties, the Group comprises Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College, Shuttleworth College (specialising in land-based education), and the National College for Motorsport near Silverstone.

It also includes The Bedford Sixth Form, which opened a new Corby Sixth Form in September 2023, and multiple community Learning Centres in Bedford, Corby, and Kettering.

TBCG offers a broad range of courses from vocational training and apprenticeships to university-level programmes spanning subjects such as construction, engineering, hospitality, motor vehicle technology, creative arts, and more.

The Group prides itself on strong industry partnerships and state-of-the-art facilities, delivering real-world experiences that enhance employability.

A pivotal presence at regional career events, including the MK Job Show, the Bedford College Group connects local talent with apprenticeships, training, and employment opportunities, reinforcing its mission to empower learners and strengthen the Midlands workforce.
