We are Citizens Advice Milton Keynes, a local charity that has been providing advice and support to people in the borough of Milton Keynes for over 40 years. We are a member of Citizens Advice, a national network that began in 1939 at the outbreak of World War II. The Citizens Advice service helps people to resolve their money, legal and personal problems. As the UK’s largest advice provider we are equipped to deal with any issue, from anyone, spanning debt and employment to consumer and housing issues, plus everything in between. Our team of volunteers, supported by a small paid staff, operate telephone, face to face and email service that are available to anybody who wants to use them. Our advice is confidential, impartial and free of charge, with most of our work being supported by a mix of donations, charitable grants and some limited funding from central and local government.
