CNWL in Milton Keynes provides NHS services throughout a person’s life, in physical and mental health, in hospital, clinics and in the community as well as in their own home.
We provide specialist services for adults through IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), our Crisis team, helping to avoid admission to inpatient wards, our Urgent Care team and our Recovery and Rehabilitation team providing support in the community.
We have a Hospital Liaison team working within Accident and Emergency and work in partnership with Thames Valley Police in our Street Triage team.
We work with individuals with memory problems in our Specialist Memory Service and provide support for women who may be experiencing psychological or mental health distress from conception until 12 month after birth in our Perinatal service .
We also provide a specialist CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) service providing a range of interventions and therapies for children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties as well as a Lifespan Eating Disorders team.
Community Nursing encompasses District nursing, Health Visiting, Telehealth and Home 1st service – supporting people to safely remain in their home and community.
